Letting go

Wednesday, January 02, 2013

밐e who cannot rest, cannot work;
He who cannot let go, cannot hold on;
He who cannot find footing, cannot go forward.

Harry Emerson Fosdick

I have to let go of my sad mood and find comfort in the fact that I am alive and well and so is my daughter.

Managed to get all those vegetables in yesterday but eating red cabbagefor dinner was not smart although I cooked it really well- But it upset my stomach and kept me awake for too long so today starts in a tired mood.

The clown course I am writing about does not start until tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow my daughter is getting the perm I gave her as a christmas gift, she is rather excited about it. It is the first time in her life she will go to a professional haridresser, up until now I have cut her hair.

    I am glad you were able to let go of your sad move and find comfort.

Will you post a pic of daughter's new hair?

    It's always good to let go of that which you have no control over!

    I hope your day goes well and the time at the hairdresser is fun. What a nice gift!

Life is good for me now but I had a lot of dark and gloomy days in my past and focusing on a gratitude list helped me through them. Just keep on keeping on and fake it until you make it. In the meantime be good to yourself and make healthy choices. emoticon

    I find this blog post of yours to be so hopeful. Just the mere fact that we go on - despite difficulties, despite pain, despite everything - is just full of hope for me. And you, Meddy Peddy really inspire me.

I wish I could take that clown course with you. I like putting myself out there, acting, too, even though I feel depressed right now. I think that course would really be a way to raise my mood.

I hope it does yours, too.

    Hope your daughter likes her new hair. And hope that you will rest up AND manage to take a little walk outside today. Get some fresh air and daylight to help your mood.

    Sometimes I find it really difficult to stop looking at the shadows and turn toward the sun - but I take a bit of comfort in the fact that Life is always full of ups and downs, and if I try to have patience, sooner or later better times - and better feelings - will show up.

    Very exciting day for your daughter. Make sure you take a photo.
Hope that the new year will bring you some joy and your days of sadness will be far and few for you.
