New Goals

Being the new year I try to achieve goals instead of resolutions because I never remember my resolutions after about a week. Last year my goal was to have Joy, Peace and Prosperity. I did achieved these goals though a tumultuous year I remained peaceful, joyful, got a job bought a new car I met these goals. Now i am thinking of new goals. Logging onto SP & using my trackers is the 1 goal I have this year emoticon

    Hello everyone, I have been on SP off and on for several years now. I was originally 350 lbs. before I started SP, after an emotional breakdown 2 years ago I was hospitalized for 7 weeks, at that time I weighed 240 lbs., when I was discharged, I was very angry for the way I was treated, also in shock that I could be so sick that I need to be committed to the 7 weeks. Because of that hospitalization, I dealt with a lot of anger, and a feeling of guilt and humiliation, thus to the point. I now weigh between 267 and 269. I have once again decided that I want to feel god about myself, my body and my health. So I am back again I feel bad because I haven't been consistent with SP but now I hope to be so totally committed that you will see me on SP everyday. Lisa emoticon

    Hey Linda long time! I have had my head buried under the covers for a few months Hadn't even checked sp on my e mail I just would delete them Gave up on myself it's called self pity Now I am a new woman!!! Remotivated and ready to go I started my spark tracking and took the August challenge back on track - I ate 2 times the recommended calorie consumption today I "only" ate lunch & dinner and small snacks! Really fooling myself Yesterday my depression broke life is good life is new this year I have changed my mourning into challenging myself with never before tried strategy. !. I went on a blind date with a man I met on Christian Mingle Went to a Salsa dance and a handsome Latin man asked me to dance (I told him I couldn't dance and how bout asking my friend sitting next to me he looked at her then me and said I would rather dance with you He taught me how to do the Salsa. Last Saturday I went to a Rumba singles dance again I danced with a man almost tripped over him lol and had a lot of fun now I am having

    So very sorry to hear of your loss of your husband and brother :(( May this year be far better for you in all ways! Good luck with these goals!
    I have always preferred vegetarian meals and only eat meat at social gatherings, never cooking it for myself. Don't forget lentils and beans -some of which have very high protein counts Lupini beans have no less then 22g of protein in only 1/2 a cup!
    Its tracking my food and ftness using Spark's great tools that helped me lose and then keep off the weight in spite of numerous surgeries. As of Feb.1 I will have maintained for two years!
    Thanks for the friend add, but I don't know how I will be with this as I am very busy and struggle just to keep up with my current friends who I have known for years. I only type with two usable fingers and so I am very slow getting around and commenting and so sometimes miss blogs or activity feeds.
