I am way off on my goals since I have been ill since Thurs. It is the first time I have had food poisoning. And it was such a special occasion. Our Grand Daughter married in Ariz. in Oct. and not many of us were able to attend.
So our Daughter-in-law worked tirelessly to have a reception in Oh. for the young newly weds. Rachel will be a full-fledged Doctor in May. We had a good attendance; mostly relatives and the night went beautifully. That is until we got home...
We know of at least 40 that were ill. So my exercise challenges went unanswered. And for two days, we ate nothing and drank water and tea to avoid dehydrating. Now we are eating toast and soup, and drinking well. As soon as I can, I will be back on track.
Oh Dear! Bless your heart. I've never had food poisoning, but I know it can be awful.
Eons ago, sometime in the '70's, one of my daughters, ...at that time in her teens... got food poisoning from Campbells soup. Campbells later issued a recall and warning. Boy was she a sick gal. She was just mentioning that not so long ago.
Congratulations to Rachael on being a full fledged doctor. Good for her.
I've never had food poisoning Jane but hear it is horrid! I'm so sorry this happened, especially under such joyful circumstances. For sure, it is a reception that none will forget! You're on the mend now and I'd rest till next week then begin to think of your program again. Take care, the year is young. 1783 days ago
