During my annual check up with my girly dr. last week, we discussed a few issues I have been having with inability to drop weight. Ever since i got S.A.D. 2 winters ago and gained 25 pounds... I have bounced withing a 10 pound range. All above my Spark starting weight. when i first joined spark, i worked my butt off... started at 218 and after 8 months, i was down to about 205 0r 206 (once dipping to 202- but that never stuck) I worked out 5-6 days a week, followed my nutrition to a tee about 90+% of the time. I dropped 1 size and lost a few inches. at 5'5" i have quite a bit to lose, so i should have dropped more... much more. Anyway, i had an honest discussion with my dr. and because of some other issues (PCOS) she has referred me to an endocrinologist. I have an appointment Feb. 1st and hopefully we can get to the bottom of things.
At any rate... I'm keeping a detailed log of food and workouts for the next month to take with me. luckily spark is super helpful with that.
So because I am the queen of organization, I'm putting together my schedule so there is no guessing. Also so i can post it on my fridge and coordinate with my hubs when he will be cooking dinner (on my cardio nights) and can plan for slow cooker meals.
So here goes:
Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday: Strength Training- 150 apps for crunches, push ups and squats
Sunday: Tabata or Yoga (or both?)
Step goal is 7000+ working my way up to 10,000+ which is harder in winter, but I'll see what I can do.
I'm just fed up with this lack of progress. I'm tired of trying and having nothing come of it. oh... and did i mention that i'm 95 days away from a week long tropical vacation?!?
So that is that. time to do this! :)
