I started today with no intentions of making New Years Resolutions or another 'diet plan'. I figured I would eat well, start moving etc - but not make resolutions.
Here I am 10:55 P.M. and I decided to make some commitments to myself.
This past few years since relocating, I have put most of my focus on my family & career. Now I'm ready to re-focus and put more time into me.
I have the resources here to help me be successful. I am successful and confident in my professional life, now I need to focus that energy on my body & health.
- I put the Sparkpeople App on my phone
-I have an App to remind me to drink water each day.
- I am committing to exercising 30 minutes 4 days a week for the month of January.

I decided to set my goal to be 180 pounds by May 1st. Then I will re-evaluate the numbers.
I have felt great and looked damn good at 180.

Here's to 2013!! May it be a year of health wealth love & happiness!! emoticon

    Goals are fun! LOL Resolutions/goals... whatever you want to call them... just something to look forward to and strive towards. Not at all a bad thing! Good luck with EVERYTHING you do!

    Having no idea where you are now, I have no idea how ambitious your goal of 180 by May is. But remember above all else, you are not defined by a number on a machine. Make eating healthy and getting fit your main goal and take the weight loss as it comes.
