Scientific experiment with my Fitbit

Tuesday, January 01, 2013

I tried something different this morning.

I get tired of my running laps in the pool and not have it count on my Fitbit. So I sealed it in a Seal-a-Meal pouch. I then clipped it to my bathing suit.

I did 400 laps (the approximate distance of a 1/2 marathon), but it only registered 15,000 steps.

Not a complaint of the Fitbit. Just a scientific experiment.

Hope everyone had a good start to the new year!

I shutter to think of what the blog would say if the Seal-a-Meal pouch had openned. Happy it did not. emoticon emoticon

Yup, one of those things you'd always wonder about if you didn't try it...

I think you should forward this info on to Fitbit? Maybe they will send you an upgraded waterproof one that they create just for you!! emoticon
