This year I am determined to continue the positive changes that I made in 2012.
1) i am excited to report that i did not gain ONE POUND over the holidays. That was my only goal from Thanksgiving to New Years. It is so motivating for me to start the new year knowing that i can do what i put my mind to. Eating clean (no sugar/processed foods) has really been good for me. I did enjoy some homemade candy during Christmas, but it was a conscious choice and not an out of control binge. :) I knew that that meant this week i would be once again coming off of sugar, battling the cravings for a few days.
2) I experienced great success with the 10 min challenge and plan to continue that in the coming year. I have increased my time to 15 minimum but i know that once i am sweaty and into it i often want to go longer. I am also adding some weight training into my week. My big fitness goal is to complete a 5k this year. You all heard it first, as i haven't been brave enough to speak it out loud until now.
3) I have some creative plans for the year, too. I want to go through my pictures and put them together for my kids. I have TONS of photos and scrapbooks and memorabilia and it is high time to get it all organized/divided between my children and get it out of my basement! I have several quilts in the works, too.
4) Finally, i am working on a business idea that i am hoping to launch in the next couple months.
