Today I joined a gym. I did 30 minutes of cardio on one of those kick your butt machines.
Here's how I did ...
(I don't know why it is upside down or how to fix it, sorry.)
Then I had an appointment with the gym provided personal trainer. He set me up with a circuit program for toning. I have absolutely no core strength. We'll change that!
Tomorrow night's dinner is in the oven. That frees me up to go to the gym tomorrow. I may have to prep and cook dinners the night before every night since the three of us have so many activities going on. Hubby is on call for work all the time, youngest is in drivers ed, I have my day job teaching and evening job stage directing for an upcoming drama competition and fitting my workouts between the two jobs.
The family is completely supportive and we've agreed that during the week we can eat dinner at the time we need to. I believe that will prevent dropping in at the drive through if I know a healthy dinner is waiting for me at home, even if it has to be zapped. It's still homemade, just made the night before.
The workout wiped me out, but a good wiped out. Sheets are nearly clean and I'll shower before bed so I can feel clean on clean sheets.
Vacation is over, back to reality. Time to put together meals and clothes for tomorrow.
I am thankful today that I have the resources I need to make exercise a part of my life again.
