Good Riddance to the Holidays

Tuesday, January 01, 2013

Not into traditional holidays. Lots of reasons. Had a good time of it, but happy they are done. Wayyyyy too superficial for me.

Best to all in 2013.

I totally agree with you! We don't celebrate them! My husband works retail and he turns into a grinch the moment it starts happening! emoticon emoticon
Let's make 2013 the best year ever with our goals!! emoticon

I'm with ya! People keep asking how my holidays were and I say, "Perfect. They came and went without a peep." We don't do holidays in my house for good reason.

Yeah, my holidays included moving, so it was hectic, rushed, and just a mess. I am glad they are over so I can focus on other things.

I think they are exhausting! I did enjoy many aspects of the holidays 2012, but am glad to get back to having more private time.

I am glad to have them over with too; I hate the commercialization of the holidays.

I'm not into them much now that the family (my daughters) live so far away. I certainly don't spend much. What I hate is all the garbage food.

I love the holidays for some reasons and not for others.
I do like getting back to the normal routine of things though. (Sad we do it all year, and only the short time we celebrate the holidays, we are so in to getting back to the normal routine of things! LOL)

I really like Christmas and New Year's - just not the way the mainstream handles them.

Hmmm...I love a reason to celebrate...are there some non-traditional holidays I should know about? emoticon

I know many who share your sentiment and are just ready to get back to the norm and routine of day to day living.
