2013 Reflection

Tuesday, January 01, 2013

This morning I started to reflect on what I would like to accomplish this year! Tomorrow, I start my new job and I want to do it a great job there. Also, I'm looking forward to the additional movement. I hated being unemployed because I stayed home due to finances. I worked out, but for only 60-90 minutes long. The rest of the day was a challenge to get additional activity into my day!

Then, I was thinking about my relationship with God. Despite what man may do, I should not let that have any influence on how I respond to Him. Man may fail me, but God will never fail me! I just need to keep this in mind. I will be going to a new church this Sunday and I will let God guide on the decision on where I should attend. Also, I have 2 devotionals that I will be reading throughout 2013 in order to enhance my relationship with my Father in Heaven!

Of course, I'm reflecting on what I want to accomplish this year as pertaining to my weight loss! I'm excited about the challenge I will be starting with one of my Sparkteams. My first goal is to lose 30 pounds by July 2013, which will put me at 150 pounds. Then, if I can lose 20 more by the end of this year, I will be estactic! I have my January mini-challenge in place. Detox/cleanse & food tracking has started! Workout agenda to start tomorrow morning! Additionally, I will be heading to bed at 10:00 pm tonight in order to start my 7-8 hours of Sleep Challenge!

I'm very optimistic about this year! Looking forward to my progress! My additional motivation is to PUSH this year: Persist Until Something Happens as well as Pray Until Something Happens!

Happy 2013 New Year and if you keep that momentum going, you'll succeed no matter what the obstacles you may face. With God, all things are possible and that, we can count on! One day at a time and one pound at a time, Sweet Jesus. Yes, yes and amen! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
