It's been so long since I wrote a blog that I almost forgot how to post one. The past year wasn't too good and this new one isn't really looking much better. I got hit with Hurricane Sandy and most of my belongings got damaged with the flooding. It's going to be a long time before I can get back into my own home. My kids are really great about having me stay with them but there is no place like your own place. Before the hurricane hit, I was really good about tracking my foods and exercise but since the flood, I'm not eating right and I don't always have the time or space to track things. I've been lucky that I haven't gained any of the weight back but I still would like to lose some more. As for exercise, I have been really active with cleaning up my house and volunteering at the rescue center. I guess this is my New Year's resolution...I WILL try to get back to tracking my foods even if more vegetables aren't available. I will also try to track my exercises or put into fitness terms, what activities I do. I will continue to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. :-)
