2013- Intention

So for this year I am focusing on myself. The past few years have been very difficult and I have come to realize that although I love to take care of people I can not take care of them unless I take care of myself- not just with eating and fitness. This year I am going to focus on myself more. Here are some things I am talking about....
1. Create a skin routine to help my skin be in better condition so that I feel pretty and young
2. Take time to learn to do make up and start wearing some so that I can put more pride in my appearance
3. Learn how to do more things with my hair and try new styles
4. Give myself manicures and pedicures more often
5. Do more yoga
6. Read more books to relax not because I have to
7. Start journaling
8. Blog more to get things out there for others
9. Make a night out or in with my girlfriends once a month
10. Put a little time and effort into my clothes for work and going out (might even get some complements but will at least feel good in what I am wearing)
11. Try meditation more
12. Spend 30 minutes a day doing some of the things above- after the kid is in bed which is strictly me time
13. develop strategies to help me sleep better so I am happy and rested
14. Think about and share my feeling instead of just stuffing them away or thinking they are not important.

If I fail at the eating healthier and exercising more this intention will probably do the most good for me both inside and out- so this is really the big one for me. But as I begin all of these intentions next week I will continue to blog about my progress with each of them so I can remember the journey
