So I entered 2013 without any clear cut goals. I know what I want to do is lose inches and gain muscle and I knowwhat I don't want to do is gain anymore weight. That is pretty much by biggest goal.
Since I love fitness minutes goals I made mine to be 16,755 for the year which is definitely doable if I am motivated, focused and keep to my schedule. And if I remain injury free, if I don't then I will adjust the minutes goal. I am not doing a mile goal because I am not sure if I will be running or not. My heel is still in recovery and I would rather just bench running all together than try it and hurt myself. Right now Baer is also injured so I don't have my walking buddy :( But I think he is recovering nicely so he should be good to go in a couple months. If not he has to have surgery. When he gets better we will start walking again as long as the weather cooperates.
Since my hours are now 7:30-4:30 I am not going to have a early morning workout goal which is different from 2012. I love morning workouts but right now it honestly works better for me to workout at night after dinner in my exercise room around 7:30 or 8pm. That takes discipline though because you want to either take a nap/watch tv or do some other activity.
I am also all the way in on focusing on measurements and not weight. I am not going to weigh myself until at least June. I've been weighing myself periodically throughout December and I learned how much your weight fluctuates up and down and up and down and up and down..it's ridiculous! So I'm just taking that out of the picture..one less thing to worry about!
I guess I'm just simplifying 2013. From January until at least March I am doing my Turbofire/Chalean Extreme hybrid. So far so good..I started it this past Sunday. And even though I didn't exercise yesterday I caught up on workouts today which is what I need to do. And I'm allowing myself to "substitute" workouts if I get bored or need a change. I will probably sub Combat workouts alot or add them in because I love those workouts! But right now I need to focus on buidling muscle and losing inches and that hybrid is the best pick for me!
I might add more later but that is all I have for now! I'm ready to be healthier at the end of 2013 than I am right now!
