New Years Day!

Happy New Year to all my fellow sparkers!
I don't like resolutions so I am not going to list any!
But I will list some things that are just promises to myself.
I am going to promise myself however, that I will continue my 6 month streak of exercising daily. I am so excited to be getting a treadmill, because on days that I don't want to be to strenuous, I can still go for a walk. Not possible to do that outside this time of year, so I am really excited to be able to that indoors.
I will continue to watch how much I eat of everything, and will continue to try new recipes with different ingredients that are lower in calories but higher in nutritional content.
I will continue to weigh all of my portions.
I will continue to track everything I eat because that has helped me tremendously.
I will continue to spend time on Sparkpeople because it helps so much to have such a great support system.
2012 has been a great year that has taught me that I can lose weight and once I get to my goal weight within the next 4-6 months, I will maintain that weight for the rest of my life!
I will maintain by the same guidelines that got me there.
I went out to lunch with a friend yesterday that I have not seen for a couple of months and the first thing she said was that I looked like I had lost weight. I was happy that she noticed and happier still to say that I had and how I had gone about it!
