I am starting 2013 with a bang. I did 40 minutes of circuit training with Exerbeat and then 40 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes of stretching! I set my treadmill up with my phone plugged in for tunes and my tablet for my book and just kept going. Passed 10,000 steps. Everytime my phone rang, it would ring through the speakers on the Treadmill.
I want to make the treadmill part of my regular exercise routine. I am finding that I actually like it and I am pushing myself more. I certainly burn a lot more calories than just marching in place.
I also like the fact that I have so many options to change up my routine. I think that will definitely help. This is the year that I want to get this weight off. If I could quit smoking after 25 years, I believe I can do this.
I have been part of spark for a long time and actually put on weight since I have been here. That is done. I may no longer need to get into a fitted riding suit, but I do have clothes I need to fit into. I need to get healthy for my kids and my husband. I want to get off my BP meds and cholesterol meds. I need to be healthy for me!
