A Test 'Almost' Passed

I had a test, on the night of Dec. 31st ,a supper with friends offering all the best food you can dream of. I had a first course pasta without any sauce, then I made a mistake; I also had some Fettuccine with Salmon dish which was really too difficult for me to digest....I only had some salad and just a small slice of panettone (traditional Xmas cake) and some red wine to finish the meal.
I think I did not overcome 6oo cal, which was my allowance for the supper. In any case, I succeeded in walking today to be sure all those cals would just be burnt, so I feel I can be happy I' almost' passed the test.
Next time I'll skip the Salmon Fettuccine dish, for sure!!!

    1 temptation at a time. I'll admit i try to think about how some foods make me physically feel. i don't have and allergies or digestion issues but i also try to eat foods that won't prevent me from exercising or from doing other activities (large meals and ab workouts are not a good mix)

    Salmon wouldn't have been the worst thing in the world. It's really high in Omega-3 which is heart healthy. But...... Glad you had a victory. It's a good way to end one year and begin another

    To indulge once in awhile is ok. I practice the 80-20 rule, for myself i have to give in alittle or i will gorge alot. You knew to do extra to compensate. I would call that a pass....

You did great. Me on the other hand, not so much. I am going to go walking/jogging today though. It will all work out by the end of the week I think. I took yesterday (one day in the entire Holidays) off, and now it is the beginning of 2013 and back on track.
