I'm in a healthy frame of mind to lose weight this year. In the past when I've begun a weight-loss journey, I was overly stern with myself and really lived in more of a dieting mindset than a healthy life frame of mind. I think my current mindset will make all the difference for me this year.
I've never had this much weight to lose, but I'm very realistic about it. It's going to take time, and it's going to require a set of changes that include food choices, exercise, hydration, and rest. I'm prepared to support my efforts when I don't have it from others, and that will be huge for me. I'm looking forward to this journey, not just to losing a specific number of pounds.
