Here we are again, January 1st. The starting point on a brand new year. I love it. Last year from Jan-Jul I lost 30 lbs, I have kept 20 of those 30 pounds off. I'm going to do it again, but this time it'll stick.
I'm not going to post pictures of my food, but I will HONESTLY log each and every day.
My nutrition goals won't be changing much. I'd like to stay in the 1200-1500 cal range. Some splurge days will happen, but if I can keep splurges to about 2000 and only 1x per week...I'll be happy with that.
My exercise goals are where I need the most help. I failed with exercise this year. Comparing when I lost over 100lbs and I ran 6 miles 4x a week...I just failed. This year I'm going to start off slow. I'd like to get at least 30 minutes of exercise in 6x per day. Escalating that to 45 minutes and eventually 60 minutes. I'd like to focus more on strength training and building muscle.
I'd like to devote more of my expendable money into my wardrobe. I think if I feel confident in what I'm wearing my self esteem will also reflect that. Currently I wear oversized and ill-fitting clothes. Clothes I can hide in. Clothes that don't have any personality so I won't stand out. I need to break out of that way and start loving myself more. I love the website Modcloth.com and I think I will start setting aside a certain amount each paycheck for a monthly shopping trip online :)
I've got a lot more ideas floating in my head. Nothing I'd like to make permanent on paper though.
Here's to an improved me, here's to 2013 being MUCH better than 2012!!
