New years resolution hmmm

Maybe I have a few.
-Depend on no one but myself. No more being sad when friends don't show up to fitness classes. Screw them their loss.
-Continue to not obsess over weight and exercise, go with the flow.
-Tone down the coffee slowly. Been drinking too much for too many years.
-Do what I love, there is no point in doing what is unemployable. Life is too short.
-Take my vitamins everyday!
-Dance more often!

That little fitbit dude is quite the motivator. I synced it to Myfitnesspal (you can synch it to spark too but it just counts calories no minutes) it automatically figures out calories burned for the day for u and keeps updating it all day long. So yesterday I burned a 455 calories from exercise, I have no idea how it figures it out but hey less for me to do. I did a lot of house work, cleaned all the bedding, shoveled for an hr. Lots of running up and down the stairs. I walked over 12,000 steps yesterday. I can't wait til we can see sidewalk again and I can go on my long walks with the dogs and track those. I looked in the settings too on the website and u can customize it to your walking stride and running stride length so it will know. Husband has to help figure that out with me. Also it asks if your pregnant and which trimester your in or if your nursing. Since its all synced with myfitnesspal, it drags my food log over there and shows me stuff in graphs lol Pretty crazy! I am wearing it to my 2 hr WERQ class today. Usually I burn 1200-1600 calories in those long classes. See what happens. The class starts at 2 and they they are closing the doors at 1:40 and the cap is 50-60 people. This should be interesting. I wonder how many ppl will know about the cap and come in late. I wish they set one long ago, it just becomes a huge hazard having that many ppl dancing in that close proximity. I hate kicking or hitting ppl on accident but it happens.

    My coffee addiction was at an all time high a few months ago. Then I discovered too much caffeine causes estrogen spikes, which in turn can trigger weight gain and water retention. I've managed to cut down to 1-2 cups of regular coffee per day. It has made my weight more stable, and I have less food cravings.

    Great goals for 2013! We have a few of the same ones. Omg, I loooove my fitbit. It's funny how that little gadget can get me moving or make me motivated. I love seeing the little flower grow the more active I am.

    That class sounds insane - I can't imagine that many people being in one class. The pool wasn't busier than usual this morning, so hopefully that bodes well for you having space to workout without endangering newbies. :-)

    Sound like good goals. My only goal is to weight myself daily. For me, it works; it's often the first step to falling off the path as well.

Vitamins....I forgot mine this morning, better take them right now. And I just had blood drawn yesterday to check my levels.....anyway, happy new year!
