I'm Back

Well after a very up and down year i have decided to return, i have lost some weight over the last year my start weight on here when i first joined was 205 it is now 194 i changed my start weight this morning as i feel this is a new start.
I finally plucked up the courage to go see my G.P about my joints as they were as bad as they had ever been and while i was there i asked him to refer me to see a gyne dr to be steralized.
I was refered and got my op in November 2011 which meant i could have the horrid implant removed as it made me moody, i spent most of last year on my period and going by how i feel now it was the reason for alot of what was wrong with me, as far as my joints go there was nothing conclusive i just have to take each day as it comes and not do too much when the pain is at it's worst.

So i have decided this is going to be the year i get myself back on track, we as a family opened our home up to a lovely lurcher boy just before Christmas (i lost my dog of 13 yrs to cancer 2 years ago at Christmas) he is just coming up to 4 months old and is my reason to go out twice a day, we are out for about an hour and i'm loving it even with the weather being as it is, we decided that he could do with a partner in crime so are going back to the rescue centre on Sunday to find him a friend.

I have ordered myself three exercise dvd's as my youngest starts full time school in September so i will hopefully have the time to exercise at home inbetween walking the dogs.

I really feel that this year i will be successful with my weight loss, i have even bought myself a evening dress in the size i want to be so i have a goal to work towards.

    I have had a lot of problems with painful joints over the last 10 years, for no apparent reason, and the two things I've found best to ease them have been old fashioned soluble aspirin, 2 in the morning, and 2 at teatime, and funnily enough exercise. The more I sit around, the stiffer and more painful my joints get! The more I walk, the easier things get.
