Here it is the first day of the new year, and the first day of my beefed up program.
This year I will be tackling my biggest challenge; becoming a non-smoker, exercising, and losing the last 12 pounds in order to hit my goal.
It will be tough and I know that it will be a long road, but I know that I can do it. I have come so far.
Smoking I will, and have quit out right. I know this is tough but I have done it plenty of times before. I have to just do it for good and get over it. I AM NOT A SMOKER, I just need to repeat that mantra over and over to myself.
Exercise is my big nemesis. I hate to do it because I sweat and it makes me ravenously hungry. To begin I will only do fun exercises that I like, such as walking, and I will do them towards the end of the day so I will only have to control my hunger for a few hours.
My schedule will go something like this;
Wake up at 5am, do stretches daily, weights every other day, get ready for work
Home around 3:30, keep busy with helping kids with their homework and doing mine, dinner, baths for kids
7pm short exercise program off of fit TV on cold or wet days and walk outside when the weather gets better for at least 15-30 minutes in the beginning.
9pm get kids ready for bed
10pm my bed time (and maybe some more exercise lol)
Hopefully with a schedule like this there will not be enough time to worry about whether or not I am hungry when I shouldn't be. Plus my belly will be tone and hopefully I will be able to shed that last 12 pounds before it is time to put on the bathing suite in the summer.
