Happy New Year, SparkFriends! The holidays are over now and 2013 is upon us. We celebrated the holidays with family this year, which was wonderful. My son is in the Air Force and he was able to take six days of leave and come to SC from his base in TX. It was great having him home. Also, my mom & step-dad came to visit from PA. (That was tough, since they are big-time snackers and food-pushers.) Everyone has gone back home now and it's just me & the hubby, so I can get back in my routine. Amazingly, and I still don't know how, I was able to lose one pound during the holidays! I thought for sure I'd gain.
My goal for 2013 is to exercise more. Hubby & I went on a bike ride yesterday and my thighs are screaming today! We plan to do it again today. I've also joined Coach Nicole's new fitness challenge. Of course I'll have to modify some of the activities in the plan because of some orthopedic issues I have, but that is permitted. (See? I even read the rules of the challenge!)
