Sugar headache

Tuesday, January 01, 2013

Started eating healthy again yesterday. Last night and today I've been suffering from a detox headache after a 2 week long sugar binge. No wonder it is hard for people to recover from the bad decisions over the holidays!

I just keep reminding myself to consume lots of water, fruit and vegetables. The headache will go away soon, and I'll be back on track to my goals.

Why did my friend have to bring me 2 packages of Oreos from the USA??? I swear Oreos are my kryptonite!

i totally understand! yesterday, i turned into some kind of sugar maniac and i felt really jacked up. it was gross but i think my jitteriness burned it all off. today is a new day and another chance to get it right!

happy new year.

PS I also live abroad (I am in Tanzania) so whenever I see an American "treat" (ie junk food) I jump all over it.

I had one of those when I started to watch my sugar. I cut out sugar for a whole week and developed flu like symptoms. It is an addiction for sure. I have been a lot smarter about sugar since then. Push through it and let your body detox!

I seem to be doing nothing BUT over eating. It's a New Year and a new start. We can do this. Put the oreo's away

I know what you mean. Then they made chocolate Oreos. It's hard to resist when they are in the house. Hopefully those nasty (yummy) devils are out of the house and you are able to get back on track.
