Lean in '13!

Monday, December 31, 2012

Nope no resolutions here...Too cliche. Even declaring that one will not make a resolution has become cliched!

I'm simply continuing what I've already begun, making progress, refining going even more into depth rounding my life.

I'm now in my own space... A wonderful start to a new year. In February, I'll become a first time great-grandmother & still trying to figure out my name. Maybe "Go-go..

Then late March my 11 & last grandchild will be born. A grandson who's name will be "Manna". That will be 6 granddaughters & 5 grandsons. I will get to be there for that birth. In May my4th grandchild will graduate high school & join her brother, sister & cousin in college. My eldest will return to school to get her license in cosmotology & massage there lo y. She wants to follow her heart. It was a defining moment after suffering 2nd degree burns a few months back to something she enjoys & can make a living.

The book I wrote on being homeless will be published by spring. I only wrote an essay & poem for the No Vacancies Project. I plan to finish a course to get my license to conduct tours in New Orleans as well as my tour guide book " Burnt Toast" & have it published.

In the midst of this, I will start using light weights & increase my aerobic activities. & continue to reduce & make lean in 13 stress in my life. So here we go...stay tune, keep going y'all & don't forget to have some fun!
