So here it is another year, not sure where 2012 went but it is gone. So part of our weekend challenge is to set my resolutions, my goals, my plan for the coming year. What do I want to accomplish in 2013?
Well I would like to reach my goal which is so doable. But I need to improve on some things. I could sit here and beat my self up with all the things I have done wrong. Or I could state what I have been doing right, but I know what I am doing right - so that is not where I need to focus.
So I looked back on the past year and when I was my most successful. That was right after my youngest left for college, my oldest was working full time and my DGD was in school full-time so I didnít need to watch her. I become selfish. I put me first. I set my mind to get back into shape and I did.
✿When DD comes home from college I let her distract me, throw me off my game, I lose focus and as she put it just today I let her make me lazy. Actually she throws my day into a tailspin and I allow it to happen.
✿My oldest had another baby - she is working part-time which means she is here more often, like almost every day. I watch the new baby for her while she is working.
So for 2013 -
➤I plan to go back to what was working - I will have my workout time and noone is to interfere with it.
➤I will go back to my menu planning and make what I like to eat - the family will eat whatever I make so why stray from the healthy foods I like.
➤I will put me first and make sure that I have me time every day
➤I will get back to my journaling, doing it every day faithfully, as well as making my monthly goals.
➤I will continue to do what I know works, eating my Freggies, drinking my water and getting in my exercise.
