May 1st I could not take it. I stepped on the scales and the digital display rolled up to 311.4 lbs. It was my breaking point. High blood pressure. Sleep apnea, snoring, getting winded after a few yards trot.
I did not want to have these condition worsen. I looked at co workers, those in their 30's being trotted in for Stress Tests. Co workers being treated for diabetes and not being able to control it. Co workers rolling toward 500 lbs.
I had to make a change. First 3 times a week trip to the gym, diet changes. I set the goal weight, at 240 lb.
No I am a gym rat, rolling at least 6 times a week. Pushing myself past the 70 minute mark , each trip. I didn't make goal. But I made changes.
I can run 3 miles. Blood pressure has dropped. No more snoring. I close the year with t eh scale reading 250
