The Verdict is in on our Weider-X-Factor plus Gym

Monday, December 31, 2012

Ok, I am so excited… About a month ago we were blessed with a Weider –X-Factor plus gym. I have not gone to our local gym since then. And I was able to do the same workout with the exception of bench pressing but I added chin-ups and pull-ups. So when I got to the gym today, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to lift the same weights I was lifting when I stopped going. Well, couldn’t lift the same weights…I was able to increase my weights.
The fly 115 to 125lbs
The reverse fly I went from 115 to 125lbs.
Fixed pull down 150 – 170lbs,
Curls 75 to 85lbs,
Adjustable pull-down 70 to 80 lbs,
Captains chair crunches 4 sets of 25 to 4 sets of 35.
Bench press 130 to 140lbs. (Well you get the picture)
Wow, I’m so excited!!!! That means when my membership expires in March I won’t renew it. I’ll be able to do my 3 days a week workout at home. That will save money and time in travel.
And here is the best part. I have several pieces of equipment that will be arriving by the 3rd. (Christmas gifts/purchase with Christmas money)
When it‘s all said and done, I’ll have all I need to continue keeping His temple/my body in shape and the pounds off. (It’s been 44 weeks of maintaining my goal weight PTL)

P.S. it won’t be long now…20 days and counting till my 1st full marathon. My knee is about 90-95% and feeling great. God willing in 20 days I'll be posting pictures.

Good luck with the marathon preparation! I'm doing the 5K Color Run in Arizona this month. Then I hope to eventually compete in a half marathon. You give me inspiration :)
