Reflections......

As I sit here thinking about how much I have accomplished in 2012, I am confident now more than ever that I will finally reach my goal weight in 2013.

It has taken me 11 months to lose 46 pounds.......slow and steady.........

I have changed my eating habits totally......I guess that you could say I'm a bit of a food snob.......I eat a lot of veggies now! I don't eat as much fruit as I'd like to though.......I love it, but it's winter and I love fruit in the summer when it's in season.......right now, I'm limited to apples/grapes/oranges/bananas.
.....and sometimes they just aren't that good.......

So for now, I make sure that I have a big salad every night with dinner........I love my banana in the morning after the treadmill......it fills me......then around 10, I have a bowl of cereal......(love the total raisin bran for all the nutrients). Then lunch at 1......around 350 calories......then dinner @ 5:30 or so......I usually end up around the 1200 calorie mark by then......enough calories saved for a snack around 7......

I eat a lot of lean meats.....chicken, turkey, pork, some fish.......never thought I would like ground turkey, but I do! Lots of great recipes on here for that......love the spinach stuffed turkey meatloaf! Just awesome! And Andy's stuffed peppers! The bomb!

Anyway, I'm rambling here.......my point is that the small choices that I've made have gotten me this far.....46 pounds lighter! And the treadmill has helped too! I have committed to a healthy lifestyle change and it is working.....

So, 2013 will be a great year because I'm on the right path!

    You have made some significant changes! By far the best one is that you have NEVER given up even throughout that dreaded plateau!
