Finishing the year no a high note

Monday, December 31, 2012

Who doesn't get nostalgic this time of year? I sure do. We wrapped up a wonderful Christmas season with my family yesterday. As we came home this morning, I was thinking about the year ahead and what my plans would be. I think my mantra for 2013 will be "Present." Being present to me means many things: being attentive, being happy in the little things, being loving, taking care of things instead of putting them off. This is a word that I can apply to my whole life and tomorrow when I write some goals for 2013 down I will use it as my guide.

In that spirit, I decided to end the year on a high note and I went for a nice run this afternoon. I ran 4 miles in 45 minutes - it felt good.

I hope everyone can start 2013 and be present for the whole year. Don't let a day pass you by.

Happy New Year. emoticon

Being "Present" is a good thing - I think I'll try that! emoticon

Love you attitude and enthusiasm! I also tried to finish the year on a good note. With so much tragedy in the world it is a blessing to just live to see a new day and a new year.

God bless,
