Exercise Excuses

Monday, December 31, 2012

I admit I come up with excuses not to exercise. During holiday travel I was very self conscious about exercising at my mother-in-law's house where we were staying for about a week. I got some good walking in, but no sweaty dvd's for me. I guess I don't like people to know I'm doing them - like it is my secret. Now that we are back I haven't done a work out dvd either. The dvd set up is in the basement which is cold! It is hard for me to get back on track when I haven't been exercising regularly. emoticon

But both today and yesterday I went on a walk with my hubby around the area around our house. We went to greenlake which has a great path to run and walk around yesterday and today we brought lunch and went to Carkeek Park. There were plenty of trails and I walked 5 miles around today. emoticon So now I have a two day stretch and both were thanks to my hubby encouraging me. I needed that. I hope all you who are reading this (yes you) have exercised today. So I'm asking you - did you exercise today? What's your excuse? emoticon

Oh I hear your pain, I do the same thing. This year I am resolving to exercise 15 minutes a day, this I know I will do, plus when I get started I love it, and will continue, but at least I have got those 15 minutes in.
