My goals for 2012 were:
1) Lose 50 pounds. This seems realistic based on my current results
2) Be able to fit into a size 16, or smaller again.
3) Keep up with my food tracking daily. This seems to be crucial for me.
4) Exercise daily, even if it's only a brief amount. No excuses!
5) Read through my One Year Daily Bible and attend church as often as possible
6) Continue exceeding water drinking goals daily
7) Complete the Bucs blanket I began 2 years ago to give to my brother.
8) Complete my doggy cross stitch project
9) Read 75 books from my current favorite authors as well as classics and new authors
10) Keep my home clean and organized
11) Try a new healthy dinner recipe once a month
12) Get my planters weeded and kept weed free

And here are the results for 2012:
1) I did not lose 50 lbs, but I did lose 28 lbs. There was a 3 month period from September-November where I was traveling a lot, on vacations, and eating out way more than normal. I had actually gained some weight back during this period, but have since lost it all and made some progress. I am very proud of that and it gives me great hope that my new lifestyle of being more healthy and fit will stick for the long haul.
2) I can wear all of my size 16 clothing again. YAY! I was even able to wear 2 different size 14 dresses, but cannot do pants/jeans yet.
3) I have done a very good job of tracking my food. I rarely ever skip it and that's typically only days when I am not home all day and have no idea where to even begin in my tracking for parties and such.
4) I've been averaging 4-5 days a week of exercise. I do need to get back to 6-7 days a week so that I can make strong progress. I'm getting tired of losing weight and so I want to try to get to my goal weight quickly so I can relax a little and work on maintenance.
5) I didn't make it through my Bible. I made it through 3 months and I did skip going to church a few times just because I did not feel like getting out of bed early enough to go. So I need to work on this better.
6) This was an easy one. I drink 12+ glasses of water a day and never even have to think about it.
7) ACCOMPLISHED! I am so glad to have that thing done! I gave it to my brother for Christmas.
8) It took me much longer to finish the Bucs blanket so I did not get around to any other projects this year.
9) I ended up reading 150 books, doubled my goal. I can jog in place while reading my Nook. Win/Win! And I do a lot of audiobooks which I can also listen to while walking and exercising and doing other things.
10) I'd give myself a 70% on this one. I do need to de-clutter my closet and dresser to purge clothes that are too big and I need to re-organize the garage. Otherwise not too bad.
11) I did this for half of the year and then forgot about it.
12) I did get the weeding finished, didn't stay on top of it. So will need to do it again.
