I am 8 weeks into my pregnancy now! We have told all of the family & just announced it to the world today!
I have done really well over the past couple of weeks. I haven't gained an ounce yet & all of my clothes still fit very well. I haven't felt bloated much (only occasionally at bedtime) and I attribute that to healthy eating & listening to my body.
NUTRITION: I have eaten so well! At the holiday gatherings I have eaten small portions of the special dishes & then really filled up on fresh fruit & veggies. I have limited sweets & drank LOTS and LOTS of water.
EXERCISE: I haven't been able to get to the gym in over a week due to Christmas & then a snow storm that held us captive and shut down the city for 3 days. Also, my husband's grandfather passed away this weekend so we have been VERY busy with family. I have kept active & incorporated stretching into my routine, but my plan is to get back to the regular gym routine next week. I feel so good after exercise!
Morning sickness has been very minimal. Just slight nausea if I go more than 2 hours without eating during the day, but easily cured by eating a piece of fruit or some protein. I have been somewhat tired, but I wouldn't say it's been much more than usual. "Nugget" (as we are currently calling him/her) is the size of a raspberry or a kidney bean this week. A little over a half inch. My uterus on the other hand is much larger. I can definitely feel it when I press in my pelvic area.
