1. Continue on the no soda band wagon.
I feel really good about how this has gone, and LOVE that I'm down almost 5 pounds because of it. I miss it occasionally, but like I was telling a friend of mine, I think it's the bubbles and the fizz that I miss the most. I'd like to include coffee in this, but I'll take it a little bit at a time-I've drastically reduced my coffee consumption so far which is awesome.
2. Commit to a 30 day paleo challenge.
This isn't a structured challenge per-say, but I've been saying for awhile that I want to try incorporating more Paleo foods into the family meals; and my mom got me this GREAT new cookbook, that talks about the hows and the whys around the Paleo diet. It also has so really yummy sounding recipes and meal plans. (Who doesn't like bacon and dark chocolate?! If you don't, we can't talk. I love bacon.)
3. Get married, to the love of my life, in September.
I'm so excited for this! I can't wait to marry him, and start a new chapter in our lives this year-we've been together almost three years and have known each other since 2002. This is just the best, most exciting thing I can think of. I can't wait for the new adventure!
4. Work out more consistently.
I need to find more fun ways to work out, and I think that the gym across the street from me has some really interesting classes that I can't wait to try! This year-Zumba! Ideally, I'd like to loose 30 pounds before I get married in the fall; but I'll settle for being more toned (a strapless wedding dress doesn't really lend itself to a set of jiggly arms!) overall.
5. Cut out another fast food restaurant for the whole year.
I've been exactly 1 whole year without McDonald's food. I don't miss it at all, to be honest, the scent of it makes my stomach turn. I'd like to add another fast food place to my list and eventually build up to eating NO fast food at all. I just have to find a good one to cut out.
