I pushed myself so hard during the 12 week weightloss challenge at our local nutrition clinic that I fell off the wagon when it was over (and I won
). It wasn't a massive fall, it was a laziness fall. I stopped using my fitbit to track my fitness and worst of all, I stopped logging my food intake.
When I am not accountable for what I do or eat, I go a little crazy.
Luckily I only gained 1 1/2 lbs over the holidays so it will be easy to pick up the pieces and start again. But more than the weight, it taught me where I am in my road to a new life. I'm not here to loss weight (alone) I am here to change the way I live and look at food and exercise and most of all my body.
With out a goal like a weightloss challenge I was lost but I went on travel for work and realized that I really missed my routine. Working out, eating at regular times and having my Spark family close at hand to help me through the tough spots.
So I am back and ready to start a new year with a healthy happy attitude knowing that I am doing the best I can for myself and my loved ones.
