Yesterday morning I had a 10 mile run on the half-marathon training schedule. I took my Garmin that I got for Christmas and a pair of my new shoes, and some warm clothes, and started my run. By mile 8 I was feeling really good so I thought I would just continue to run. I also had my GU and Gatorade so I was refueled. When I hit 11 miles I thought, well one more and I can finish 2012 with a 12 mile run! And I did! I felt great after my run. I stretched real well and used my foam roller. I have no soreness this morning!
I am looking forward to continuing my training for the March 16 half!
