Some other stuff...
While I don't like to specifically make New Years resolutions, I do have a few goals I'm working towards in 2013. One, of course, is to run a marathon :-D I also have two (and maybe a third?) half marathons I'm signed up for in the spring- DC Rock N Roll in March, and Nike Women's DC in April- the inagaural event, of which I was chosen in the lottery! :) (also looking into possibly the DIVA'S Half DC in September)
Another goal is to resume my HITT training with Bodyrock, and remain consistant with it. I got some money for Christmas, and while most of it is going to the wedding fund... I did treat myself to an equilizer- which is a dip-station type tool/equiptment used on the Bodyrock website. Until now, I've been using two chairs for dips, reverse pullups, lifts, and elevated pushups. I've had to modify a little bit, but it was adiquit. (except it was a pain in the butt to have to drag everything out.) The equilizer will allow me to perform workouts with less modification and less chance for injury. Yay! I have to say, I've been slacking in the HITT training a bit.. I think I was just getting a little burned out. But, I took a little break, and now I'm ready to get right back to it.
I'd also like to remove the 10 lbs that has crept up on me over the second half of this past year (I was doing so good up through the spring time... now it's time to get back there again.. and there's nothing more motivating than rocking a wedding dress
) So I'm logging my food again and trying to stay in range. I'm hoping to accomplish this by June.. but we'll see.
