If the problem is not hunger, food is not the answer. Period.

When I am tired, I am hungry for sleep.
When I am thirsty, I am hungry for liquids.
When I am feeling down, I'm hungry for support.
When I am feeling lonely, I'm hungry for people.

I have rarely, if ever, experienced real hunger for food in my lifetime which is rather sad if you think about it. Mindless grazing and sugar binges kept hunger at bay even though they were symptoms of emotional eating. Major challenge for me & I'm enjoyed the blogs, quizzes, and articles that address this.

I loved this blog. I often have felt "hungry" when experiencing those things and tried food instead of giving myself what I really needed. I'm going to print this out and post it on my vision board as a reminder in 2013 to take care of my real needs. Thank you so much and Happy New Year!
