Ian Smith SHRED REVOLUTIONARY DIET BOOK

This is a great book for anyone who wants to lose weight. It is a simple program to follow that can produce weight loss. I start the official program January 1st 2013. I am going to shred the fat. I am so excited. It help me push thru a plateau and I started losing weight again. You can lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks.

    I just got the 4 day diet from the library. Thought I'd read it and see if Dr. Smith's way of doing things fit my lifestyle. So far, I 'm loving it. He starts out saying that following a diet is 80% mental and 20% physical. I so relate to that. Every time I start a new diet, I tend to give up on myself. The self-examination that you have to do before you start may be the "magic pill" I've been looking for.

Thank you, guys, for being here. Even though I'm not up to "Shred", we're probably pretty close. @BonnieMCB, I will be checking out Dr. Oz's website to see what Dr. Smith had to say there. Thanks for the heads-up.

  I am 9 days into the Shred Revolution. Awesome!!!! Haven't been hungry at all! You really have to read each meal carefully and get the timing down. I weighed in at day 7, and already lost 7 pounds!!!! emoticon emoticon

    I purchased the book last week, read through it all and prepared my menu for Week 1.
Started the program today and I'm hoping for very positive changes.

The menu options are very easy to follow without having to pick up food I'd not normally have in my kitchen.

    I have the book, saw Dr. Oz (you can locate the edisode on Dr. Oz website) AND I am starting to "shred on Monday, 2/3. I am a planner, so I need to be sure I have all my ducks in a row re foods, workout plans, etc. before I start AND I will be out of town this weekend so thought Monday would be a good time to start. I sure hope someone has started a team/blog because I am sure I will have questions going forward and it would be great to have support resources....good luck to us all!! emoticon

  I saw this on Dr Oz as well. I am on week two. I have lost nine pounds. As I imagine that is mainly water, I'm anxious to see what this week shows.

    i too saw this book and bought it on kindle. I wanted to know if anyone has had any luck with it and how it worked. I plan on starting this weekend after i finish reading and go shopping from the foods listed. Starting a blog with this would be great!

    Funny, I picked up your blog via GOOGLE! I had read about this way of eating in the latest Woman's World. Had NOT seen it on Dr. Oz. I started in on Monday with what little I knew. But seems I have alot more reading to do it right. I bought the kindle version to have with me anytime, but also succumbed to the book at Barns and Noble....right there on the DIET book table as you enter the store! What got me to wanting to try this is my problem with stalled weight loss. So frustrating. If anyone does start a team LMK. There ARe a couple of Calore cycling teams, course they are different from this idea.

    Hey I started the plan today too! Is there a team for the Shred diet yet? I'd love to join. @GA8625, glad to shared about your difficulty with using the ebook version. I was tempted to get the Kindle version but spurlged on the book for the very reasons you mentioned. I thouhg it would easier to reference the book as I needed it. I lost 71.4 lbs last year basically following a midified version of Micheal Thurmond's 6 week boody makeover, but I;ve plateaued and actually begun to gain weight-even when following the plan to the letter and increasing my workout. I'm planning on giving this plan my all to take me through another 40lbs weight loss to hit my goal.

    I to just got the book. Plan on starting Monday 1/7/13. I have looked to see if anyone has started a team / blog specifically for the Shred. I have not found one. I may start one so that we all can share recipes & support. "Believe! Work hard! Have fun!"

    I too saw it on Oz and bought yesterday, starting today. Is there a team, should we start one?
FYI- I bought the kindle version, would much rather have the book. Too hard to find info, can't bookmark, scroll effectively or copy recipes and info
