I'm very lucky in many ways. One of them is that my husband is very, very good in the kitchen. He has made countless great tasting, healthy meals, and I'm grateful for this because I have a full time job and a rather long commute. When I get home from work, I have enough time to change my clothes and relax for a few minutes, and then I'm treated to a nutritious dinner. Without my husband's commitment to a healthy lifestyle (in large part by his willingness to make dinner), I know I wouldn't have had the weight loss success that I've achieved.
In an effort to help my hubby expand his (already stellar) culinary skills, I'm issuing a challenge to him for 2013. How will this challenge work? Each week I'll select a specific food, recipe, or cooking style to inspire him. All he has to do is make a dish incorporating what I've selected, and then post a picture of what he made. It's all in fun and something neither of us would have even considered before we began our healthy lifestyle journey.
