I have been blogging at the end of the day, when I am really drained. I am more of a morning person for sure, so I decided to journel in the AM about the day before and see how that goes.
Yesterday I finished my last day of the super juice detox 9 day cleanse. I ended up having a salad when I ate out unexpectedly with my son. A salad is acceptable if you get really hungry on the cleanse anyway. I splurged on a few tortilla chips and queso, plus I had the dressing and cheese and the boiled egg. It's okay, really wanted the veggie burger, which is delicious, but I knew that would be a harsh way to end the cleanse. So, overall, I am happy that I didn't really indulge in more. I was conscious about m choices rather than all emotional, or I would have eaten the burger. I had a nice time with my son. We had gotten our hair done at my daughters and then we went to see a movie. Good memories!
Today I did my second virtual weigh- in with my new Aria scale. Even though I had hoped to be at 155 by now, I weighed in at 156.8, which meant I did go down a couple of pounds this week. I am focusing on the good part, because it could have easily gone the other way, had I not set the intention to eat consciously, love myself and enjoy rather than live in the guilt. Besides it seems very doable to reach 155 this week before I go on Spiritual Retreat and mentoring training.
I was really excited to see that I had lost 1 inch in my waist, a 1/2 inch in my hips and thighs, THIS WEEK!. (I don't focus on the chest, because I always lose there, too, which means they almost disappear. Lol! Honestly, as an athlete, I have always been glad to be small. Besides the doctor told me I had firm breasts like a young person, so hey, no complaints here.)
I look forward to a day at home. I plan to see the new year in, with my eyes closed.:-) I usually go ballroom dancing on New Years Eve, but it's a 40 minute drive alone, late at night and then it messes up my days and nights for a few days. Plus, I would pay $60 for the evening and for food and cheap champagne that I wouldn't eat or need. I always go to dance, and of yes, I love to get dressed up, but there are usually very few men, so you have to wait to dance. That is a bummer to me. It's a classy atmosphere and really nice people, though!
More importantly, my intuition is guiding me to focus on cleansing my mind today by doing a lot of my mentors healing videos, to clear the Charka's, in preparation for the New Year and my Spiritual Retreat/ mentoring training. I am one to believe we have entered the age of Aquarius and that we live in very exciting times of spiritual awakening.
Blogging on Spark People has been so helpful in my quest to reach my goals for this year. I appreciate so much the support of my new Spark Friends. It means a lot to know someone cares is watching.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, MUCH LOVE AND GOD'S BLESSINGS TO ALL!
