A day late posting again but here it is.
Almost the end of another year. I have sure wasted a lot of time this year trying to take on too much all at the same time and just spinning my wheels.. I would crash and burn quickly and then go into emotional hibernation, eating randomly and not moving at all. I took no time to plan or set goals but ran wildly all over the place. Going into 2013, I have set small and large goals and have developed a plan for reaching those goals. I am confident and happy. Feeling happy is quite a new emotion for me, as I have been fearful and unhappy for a very long time. I am taking things slowly this time and following the suggested path that Spark recommends. Today is the day for putting all the Christmas things away. All the decorations go back into their boxes and furniture and regular knick knacks go back in place. Wrappings and boxes get put out for recycling and new gifts get put away in their new places. I have a 15 minute walk planned for this morning as well as lots of bending and stretching to de- decorate the house.. Small steps, certainly, but new ones for me. I am working on consistency right now and have prepared a walking streak plan. I've never followed a streak before and am quite excited about starting this one. WHile I want to walk every day, my streak starts at 5 days out of 7. Menus for today and tomorrow are planned and tomorrow we will plan for the rest of the week. Time to get to it and get another busy day on it's way.
