Our holidays have been wonderful. We had dinner at my sister Robin's last night. We both cooked. Lots of friends over. We had Mom and Dad over too.
Robin is a saint. She opened her home to 2 homeless girls, friends of her daughters and then on top of that, she opened her home to a single Mom and her 2 little girls so they don't have to stay at the homeless shelter. Well they stay some of the time but it was so sweet of Robin to open her home to them. So the little girls spent the nights sleeping over with Brendon and really enjoyed playing with him. He enjoys them too. I caught him hugging the little girl while she was sleeping. Children just go with the flow and think nothing of a house that is already too small for Robin's family. They just go with it and welcome everyone. I need to be more thankful for what I have because I could be homeless right now too. If it weren't for my great family.
Eating too much and not exercising enough. Well the holidays are a time for that. We do our best but so many temptations.
Can't believe its almost Jan 1st already! Has this year flown by or what?!
