Pay It Forward Bound

I spent my last Sunday worshipping with my church family taking communion which is communal, public and personal. It was a small gathering today, so many folks traveling and out due to illness. The message taught me the deep significance on taking the bread and drinking the blood Jesus shed for me symbolically. I continue to plead the blood of Jesus over my life, my family, my friends.
I spent the rest of the day uniting a church member with her children. She has been hospitalized since Wednesday and was hoping to be released today. They still have to run tests and her children also needed to see their Dr as well. I was able to fill a need, take those children to the hospital to spend time with their Mom, get them to the doctor and get their medication and safely home to get rest. I was able to encourage and uplift, spark hope, pray and lay hands. It wasn't about me, my time and money invested, it was about investing in the lives of others, giving back, taking me out of the equation. It is not about me, it is about serving others. That is all.
