13.1 miles! T minus 147 days...

Okay...I am so excited...I'm totally buying that garmin watch. I think I have it narrowed down to the Garmin Forerunner 210 (I think), and it comes in a cute white version. Its on sale for 200 right now. Decent price. It does not come with a heart rate monitor (its an extra 60) but I don't really need one because I already have a heart rate monitor and a watch..It also doesn't come with the foot thing I wanted, but I think it is compatible...(ugh, more researching to do)....

I went for my third outside run today...My sister and I completed 3 miles in 46 minutes! Yay!

I've definitely noticed that I start out too strong or fast or whatever, and I slow down as i go....

Anyways, I am super excited and want to run a 5k. I'm currently out of my town, and there are no local 5ks with open registration anymore. I've convinced my sister to race me on Tuesday morning before I leave. We will run a 3 mile course and see who wins. Nice competition and I will definitely be taking my ipod on that run, although it has been nice without it.

We also completed a pm yoga video session (ouch) and two zumba songs I tried to teach my sister.

I'm exhausted and can't wait for a good night's sleep.

I've been severely motivated by some of my sparkfriends and thier extremely amazing goals! That will be a separate post come the new year or whenever I get it down on paper...

I have been working on tracking my food...for the past few days, I have been right around 1600 calories. That is the higher limit of what my nutritionist said I could have. I might have forgotten what my lower limit would be...I have eight million questions to ask her, she is totally going to regret taking me on as a patient...

I think tomorrow after some research, I will order my new watch...and research a few more things...

    And I think that your nutritionist will be happy that you are getting interested in your nutrition intake and beginning to be much more active in taking care of yourself.

    I would like you to try something new the next time you run (on two separate days)
    The next time you run outside Try starting out slow and continue to speed-up
    The second time you go for a run do each mile in 14 minutes let me know how it goes.
    I will tell you the reason after you do both- Have fun and you are doing well.
