Reflections on 2012
I completed 12 races including 3 full marathons and my first Tri longer than a Sprint. I set an all time marathon PR and a new Masters 10K PR, I lost 15 more pounds toward my ultimate weight loss goal. This makes a total of over 30 pounds since joining SPARK in May 2008.

8-25-12 Mississippi River Run DONE! 52:51 (8:31) 2nd place Masters Female 23rd overall
9-9-12 Northeast MO Triathlon DONE! 2:27:05
10-7-12 Twin Cities Marathon DONE! 4:14 **NEW All-Time PR!**
11-3-12 Tri State Warrior Run 10K DONE! 48:11 Course was short but ran and 8:16 pace
11-10-12 Beat Beethoven 5K DONE! 24:20 (7:49 pace) 3rd female overall
11-17-12 North Face Endurance Challenge Half Marathon Kansas City, MO DONE! 1:51(29 seconds away from an age group award! 4th in my age group out of 42, 64th female out of 493, 183 out of 841 overall)
11-22-12 YMCA Turkey Run Quincy, IL DONE! 48:50 (7:53) **New Masters PR by over 30 seconds per mile!**

2013 Fitness Goals:
"The significance of a man is not in what he attains but in what he longs to attain."
Reach final goal weight. I will do this by:
• Tracking what I eat on SPARK and staying in my calorie range
• Meeting with wellness person at work on a weekly basis for accountability
• Making an eating plan for travel that will set me up for success since travel is often my
• Weigh myself a minimum of every other day preferably daily to keep myself honest
Qualify for the Boston Marathon (3:55 or lower) at the Illinois Marathon 4/27/13. I will accomplish this goal by:
• Continuing to work with my coach
• Completing all workouts
• Doing yoga/stretching and muscle conditioning minimum of 1 time per week
• Meeting goal weight by race date
