Make Your Resolutions With Wisdom & Meaning To Yourself

Sunday, December 30, 2012

emoticon Welcome to December, my favorite month of the year! Christmas season makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. It is not about the gifts, lights, parties, food and merriment, but rather the reason for the season. Share your love and embrace God's love this month. This is a "good" thing! This month I'll be sharing God related material. Some will be serious, some will be church related, some will be laughable and some will be delectable. Please come daily to enjoy and share with your friends!
emoticon Every year I seem to make resolutions for the New Year. Then I jump in with a vigor and usually end up fizzling out before accomplishing the goal I've set. Hmmm ... This year I decided to set more reasonable goals that will keep me from feeling inadequate. They will be more attainable and leave me feeling more of a success in my own mind. Instead of putting specific numbers on things I will make them more open-ended. This will allow me to improve at my own pace without the feeling of it not being enough. I hate being around others who never seem to get enough or have enough. Always feeling negative about oneself instead of positive and uplifting. Why would I try put myself in that same position? lol Anyway, my resolutions for the New Year of 2013 has started forming inside of me. I intend to post them tomorrow as an accountability to myself for myself. It won't be big but it will be meaningful to me. I urge you to do the same.
emoticonHugs & hugs ... I wouldn't want you to be lopsided. lol Merry Christmas-after and great joy to all!

I never make resolutions because that is setting myself up for failure. But if I want to make changes, no matter what the time of year, I plan and go for it..... Less expectation and more often success this way.

Good luck to you as you move forward in 2013....
