New Year's evaluation

Sunday, December 30, 2012

I usually take advantage of this time of year to reflect on the past year, and plan for the coming one. emoticon

As I look over the past year, there are many things I'm grateful for. There are also disappointments, one of which is my lack of follow-through as far as my health goals are concerned. Maybe I should rather say lack of consistency. Some weeks/months, I'd give myself an A+ for physical activity (my biggest challenge), but at other times, it's an F, and that F can be (literally) deadly.

I've found an excellent (free) life planning tool that's helping me to work through my goals in different areas of my life. It's useful for evaluation and planning. Anyone can sign up to receive the free document by email at
I do want to warn anyone who might be offended by Christianity that Michael Hyatt's document, "Creating Your Personal Life Plan", while containing strategies that can be useful to everyone, is written from a strongly Christian perspective.

As I review my goals for 2013, I wish you success in achieving your own health and fitness goals in the coming year! emoticon

I wish you the best with your Life Plan. Having a plan is the best way to start. I'm working on a plan right now, too, and HOPING it will turn out to be a healthy life plan. As long as we don't give up, we can do it. And we're never alone... emoticon

One of the great things about life is that we get a chance to live it and make choices each day -- in a sense every day is a clean slate and we can choose to take a better direction. I love the New Year for it's "fresh start" vibe -- something I'm in need of in 2013.

Happy New Year!

A new year, a new me. I liked the blog and thank you for the michaelhyatt life plan reference, I tapped into it and think it will be wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I also can get A+s on occasion, but the F's seem to dominate my grade card. 2013 will be different, because I will make it different. Keep up the good work.
