Up early to SPark while the wood furnace brought the heat up
in the house, then organized things for lunch. We took down
the trees and decorations at church this weekend as that is
when we would have the most volunteers. I brought bread,
butter and cookies while DD and her MIL provided crackers,
cheese, meat and a wonderful soup. Everything went down
faster than it went up and we were finished quite quickly.
We were even done eating just before noon. Dishes were
washed and put away, the kitchen cleaned and the carpets
vacuumed. We had such a great time visiting.
I came home prepared to help take inventory at the store
but the manager called and said my help wasn't needed.
That was a pleasant surprise. I took a short nap, watched
a little of one football game but focused on the Vikings/Packers
game the most. It was a thriller and the football fans in the
family were pleased with the outcome.
Winding down for the evening and planning for tomorrow.
We will be in the office until noon, then home for a quick
lunch and off to the big city to see "Les Miserables" in the
theatre. It will be a treat as we are so in love with the
10th Anniversary show that was on PBS years ago. We also
liked the 25th Anniversary version but to see it on the big
screen will be awesome.
Have a great last day in 2012 and look for the promise
of good things to come in 2013! Thanks for stopping by.
