2013 goals oh and for good measure January too

So here it is the start of a new year.

My reflections on 2012.
~ I realized how important keeping my focus really is.
~ I learned that change in the day doesn't have to change my whole plan
~ I realized that while every day is a new day I can't have too many slips
~ I realized that I really can do this


My weight loss goals for 2013 first hit 170 and then push for 160.

How am I going to do it? Well first remember that and that

~I am going to track everyday recording it all even the ugly
~Gym 5 days a week - Cardio three every day and ST 3 times a week
~ Hiking once a week.
~ When I am bored I am going to walk the puppy or write.
~ I am going to limit my wine drinking to once a week.

I am going to try to remember that I am not alone and that the below are true and others have felt the same


My non scale goals that I think will help on my path are to write more, after all Shakespeare said


I also want to meditate more. I really want that mind body spirit balance.


I used to grumble about how this journey seemed like a second job and rebelled against that over the last two months. Well you know what it is a second job and I have to be in it to win it. The only person I hurt when I fall off is myself. So I am going to keep climbing and walking the walk and am going to be active in the process.


We can all climb this staircase together.

Lets make 2013 our year.
