Bible Lesson that stayed with me. Here is one!
Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. K.J.V. in Public domain
My Devotional thought: True riches can be found in doing right no matter the cost. Doing whats right no matter what others say or think is a good way to live a life of Integrity showing true character. Pleasing God is true riches. We need not seek the worldly pleasures but seek to please the Lord.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. K.J.V. in Public Domain
Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. K.J.V. in Public domain
